First Encounters With Church
Church Family,
Vacation Bible School is less than a week away! Kids are signing up at a rapid pace and the excitement is stirring. As always, we anticipate several hundred children in attendance at VBS this summer which means we need the help of our church body through your presence, your prayers, and your financial support.
We still need volunteers! People of all ages, abilities, experiences, and life stages are welcome. I can guarantee your presence June 20-23 (including set up day June 19) will make a difference in the lives of many children and be a joyful experience for you. You can help us plan by registering now!
For some children, this will be their first encounter with church. We know the impact can be life-changing, so we are thoughtful with every decision we make in our planning process. Please be in prayer with us that we are creating a space where children will know they are loved, belong, and have purpose. We will only have four days with some of these kids. Please start praying with us now.
Plans and purchases to be ready with fun activities and decorations began months ago. The purchases are made on faith that the financial support will follow. There are three ways to give: a donation option when you sign up to volunteer, the church website (designate VBS), or a physical check/cash that can be dropped off at the church Main Office on weekdays or the Children's Welcome Desk on Sunday mornings. VBS is FREE for all children to attend, and we want to keep it that way. Please prayerfully consider giving your financial support.
