Seeing the Signs
Dear Friends,
The signs are evident. They are showing up in more places. God is at work in and among the people of University. Whether you look at the redesigned Wednesday nights, the joy that radiates down our hallways, or the increasing number of people participating in and being blessed by the ministries of this church, University is growing, is financially healthy, and I am excited about God’s future for us.
God has and is blessing this community of faith. We believe that blessing always comes with the responsibility to steward and share God’s abundant generosity. This is exactly what we are going to do. We are a church committed to living open-handed before God and our neighborhood. University exists to make disciples of Jesus who transform the world by building bridges to Christ, compassion, and community.
We invite you to join us in this effort by investing your prayers, your talents, and your time in what God is doing at University. We also invite you to invest your financial resources in the ministry and mission of University. 2017 is on course to be our healthiest financial season in many years. This health is the result of your robust generosity and our commitment to collective stewardship of the church’s resources. I believe 2017 is just the beginning of the amazing work God has planned for us.
