In the Wake of Harvey: Respite from a Long, Hard Road

Friends,

Recovery is a long, hard road. Whether it is grief, addiction, or rebuilding after a tragedy, this long road is far better if we don’t have to walk alone. Leading in a community that has known wide spread devastation is emotionally, physically and spiritually draining. In addition to the flood buckets and funds University has sent to those in need, we have been invited to offer opportunities to pastors serving in areas affecting by the storm. If you have a second home or a guest house that you would be willing to allow a pastor and their family to stay at to have a chance to rest and renew, we would love to hear from you. We would be looking for time after the first of the year, after the grind of recovery and Christmas has taken its toll on pastors and their families. This is one more way we can walk alongside of those who are on the road to recovery.

If you have a place or want to help support pastors in areas devastated by flooding and storms, please email Ruth Towers, , or give us a call if you have any questions.

Blessings,
Pastor Ben
