HS Mission to Rocky Ford Colorado

June 18-25th we took about 140 high school students and leaders to Rocky Ford, Colorado to be a people of hope to a struggling community. We hosted a soccer camp, VBS, bike rodeo, and block parties while also serving the community with several work projects around town, painting a mural in the library, and spending time with the residents in their Senior Living facilities. There were numerous stories over the week about how we were able to be disciple makers in that community. Pastor Marty at Rocky Ford UMC and a team of leaders from their community worked hand in hand with us all week long to show the love of Jesus Christ to some who received that love for the first time, and others that felt distanced from that love. Our prayer was that through The Holy Spirit, our students and leaders would be able to provide the hope that resides in Jesus Christ to everyone we came across in that community...and from all accounts, that was a success.

Thank you to everyone that lifted us up in prayer during our mission. We greatly appreciate it!
