Kairos Prison Ministry

University has two Kairos Prison Ministry teams that serve in the Texas Department of Corrections at the Connally Unit in Kenedy and the Briscoe Unit in Dilly.  The mission of the Kairos Prison Ministry is to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women and youth, as well as their families, to become loving and productive citizens of their communities.  The ministry is very similar to the Walk to Emmaus.  The Briscoe team is scheduled to serve on April 22-26 and the Connally team is scheduled from May 6-10.  Please join us for the commissioning of the Briscoe team during the 11:00 Contemporary service on April 19th and Connally team during the 11:00 Traditional service on April 26th.
