On the evening of March 29, children and families gathered as we sang songs and heard stories about Jesus' living, dying and rising again for us. We shared a meal, painted crosses, and fellowshipped together. The best part of the evening was gathering together in the sanctuary, streamers in hand, to run, leap, and dance joyously as we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus. Our hope is that this remembering and celebrating will become a tradition that helps our children and families understand the significance of Good Friday and Easter. A HUGE shout out to Tracy Harrell, Paige Gonzalez, The U Women, The Builders, The Believers and The Hearts on Fire Sunday school classes that made this night possible--your servant hearts blessed our children and families!
