Pray for the New Believers in our church
It may have been awhile since you accepted Christ into your life. Remember, embracing the truth that Jesus is your savior is big and amazing. It also requires some life adjustments. Leaving a life of sin is similar to someone coming out of an addiction. Your friends may not understand what has happened to you. Your whole identity has shifted. The things you used to rely on and the things that provided you security have now passed away. These are the sort of things a new believer may be faced with.
Pray for the new believers in our church as they move into a new rhythm of life. Pray they will have solid men and women of God to help them down this new path. Pray for a renewed heart of evangelism for yourself. Finally, remember your baptism and be thankful.
1 Peter 2:2-3
Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.
