Our ministry is multi-faceted, including writing and performing in a variety of settings through the partnerships we have established with churches, The Herald’s Trust (evangelical Scottish organization), and New Scottish Arts, a Christian ministry through music that wants to add drama.  Because we know first hand the power of theater and the arts to reach people’s hearts, our ministry here is centered on performing, writing, and directing plays that present Biblical truth.

We work in the Central Region of Thailand working amongst the Thai Buddhists (less than .5% know Jesus as Savior) We will work with a church planting team as participating with regional efforts to coordinate a soccer outreach ministry.  Our regional vision is a community of biblical churches of sufficient size and strength, about 1% of the population that is able and dedicated to the continued evangelization of Central Thailand.  We desire to see an indigenous biblical church movement in this region and spreading throughout Thailand, and are working with the Thai church towards this goal in the strength and purposes of the Lord.  Thank you for all your continual prayers and support.

I have dedicated the greatest part of my life to missionary service working with children and youth and at the same time training their parents.  With the children we provide academic leveling and occupational therapy.  Several years ago I started University classes in Psychology where I have learned new tools and to be more effective in teaching on family issues.  I’m also looking forward to working with children with learning disabilities.

In my ministry, I feel I function mostly in a support role.  Duncan is a blatantly Christian (Indian) run mission hospital in a very dark and idolatrous part of India where most live in abject poverty.  The Indian Christians (all the doctors, most of the nurses, and many of the students) do a much better job of reaching out to the millions that surround us.  I officially function as a QA advisor to hospital staff as well as teaching 2nd year nursing students.  This is a very dark place and a difficult place to survive in let alone live victoriously, so I feel the more important function, is that I help to be a mentor, encourager, and a prayer intercessor.  I lead Bible studies for Nursing students and a group of Doctors and residents as well as taking my turn leading morning chapel and Sunday evening services.

I work with the conflict in Colombia helping orphans, widows, and people displaced by violence.  We have to orphanages, where we work with street children.  I have taught in YWAM schools for 27 years.  In the coming years we look forward to finishing the orphanage construction so that we can accept 20 more children and establish a new ministry in Montelibano, Cordoba, Colombia.

We have a Church Planting Ministry in Krupa Kendra.  We also have a preaching, teaching and counseling ministry.  Our goals are to plant another church and establish two house groups among the Banjara Tribe around Aslathanda.  We plan to hold our first revival meeting for the Banjara Tribe believers in 2014.  We will have VBS for tribal children and we’ll start 2 Bible Studies in the slums for women.

I am the Director of YWAM in San Pedro where I am responsible for leading this new YWAM Ministry in San Pedro in the Dominican Republic.  Our core ministry is the Homes of Hope program where we host groups to build homes for needy families.  Over the last three years we have build 68 homes.  I am leading a staff of 20 people where we also run training schools and local evangelistic programs.  We are ministering to the people of San Pedro through Gods love demonstrated through acts of service and mercy.  A large part of my role is liaising with the local pastors.

I currently teach at the Evangelical Methodist Seminary and over the past 3 years 25 students have graduated from the Seminary.  I serve as President of the Board of Directors for the Methodist School and continue to work closely with the General Director of the school and the Christian Education dept. to further strengthen the schools outreach and witness to the student body and their parents.

Fourteen years ago Lidia and I began working directly with the District Sup. of the Heredia Dist.  (NE Costa Rica), to implement a plan to plant churches in this sector of the country.  To date the Lord has blessed our efforts immensely as 15 new Methodist Churches are now serving and ministering in this region of the country.

In 2007, through prayer and seeking Gods direction and through many generous gifts we were able to purchase land outside of San Jose and we began construction of the Methodist Children’s Home.  In 2011 we began a new chapter in our ministry, we were approved by Child Welfare agency and the first children began to arrive in June of 2011.  Lidia serves as the Director of the Children’s Home.
